Our center in Flecheiras/Emboaca will stay closed for the year 2011, as the hotel is under construction and will be builded new! This small fishing spot can be reached from Fortaleza by taxi in 1,5 to 2 hours. It lies at the southern end of a long drawn out bay with its seemingly endless sandy beach. Once you have cast an eye beyond the sand dunes that stretch behind the village, you will never forget the view, because over the houses and between the palms you can see the huge, green-blue shimmering play area made for kiters and windsurfers. The wind stats show an almost 100% chance of 4 – 6 bft. in the period from June to January. So, when you combine the wind with extremely good water conditions, this spot becomes an absolute paradise for kiters and windsurfers.

The Planet Allsports center is located left hand (looking to the sea) on the Hotel Nootka area. Flecheiras is less then 2 hours by car, on the main road, from Fortaleza airport (125 Km) away.

The best kombispot for Wind and Kitesurfing.In Flecheiras the southeast wind (side-onshore) is blowing relatively constant with up to 35 knots, the whole year.The wind starts slowly in the morning and reachs the full force at midday. From June to February there is wind almost every day with over 18 knots. Starting with August the wind usually gets stronger (25 knots and more).
With low tide you have a nice feeride or freestyle area with pretty much flat water. If the tide is coming up we got a small shorebreak and nice waves for jumping and riding. Anew: From August, 2010 planet Flecheiras offers a new spot, approx. 5 km downwind – Embuaca.
Embuaca offers with steady sideshorewind a really playing field for windsurfers and kiter. A land tongue at the head of the bay puts the waves in perfect lines and lets pass the wind unhindered. Between the waves you will find absolutely flat water. For the more manoeuvres or speed oriented surfer there is further below in the bay enough place to have fun also without waves

Anew: To discover the variety of the Brazilien coast we offer1 to 3 day tours to all Windsurf or Kitesurfspots from Fortaleza to Jeri incl. material and guiding.

For people who would like to go out, we present following options. In Flecheiras are about 20 Restaurant with typical Brazilian kitchen. The main place is the meeting point of young people, couples, and families and singles who enjoy Flecheiras.
Various bars offer a nice nightlife to have a cocktail or dance with the locals. The south American nights are famous for salsa, forro and samba.

Nootka Beach Hotel
The hotel, with a typical Brazilian architecture, is situated just on the entry to Flecheiras village (around 10 min. by walk from the center) and it is placed in a very green area with nice tropical plants and flowers. The hotel area has a nice view to the beautiful blue sea and his never ending beach.
The hotel has 21 rooms, 5 with A/C, 8 suites and the others have standard furniture. All rooms have a nice veranda with view on the beach and Flecheiras.
Just in front of the Hotel is the Beachbar where you can spend nice hours on the sun beds and under the umbrellas, drinking a tasty cocktail. The bar is opened until late night.
Also belonging to the hotel is a pool, just in front of the restaurant.
